Make Homemade Chemical Free Hair Tonic to Enjoy Silky Thick Hair

Hair, being one of the most visible features of our body, is becoming the most worrying aspect for both men and women. Everyone loves silky and thick hair. However, it’s not easy to get that flawless look. Just like skin, hair also takes a lot of time to care for. You can make homemade hair tonic without chemicals to enjoy silky thick hair for a long time.

Hair tonic with rosemary essential oil

You will need:

  1. 1 liter of pure mustard oil
  2. 5 ml rosemary essential oil
  3. 5 ml peppermint essential oil

How to make it:

  • Pour all the mustard oil into an airtight container.
  • Gradually add the essential oils a little at a time.
  • When you do this, stir the mixture with a fork.
  • Close the cap and store away from sunlight.

How to use it:

  • Apply shampoo to your fingertips.
  • Pour some toner on your hand.
  • Apply the mixture to your scalp.
  • Massage your head gently.
  • Cover your hair with a towel or something similar and leave it overnight.
  • Wash off with normal shampoo the next morning.
  • Apply conditioner and hair serum.
  • Dry your hair with a blow dryer.
  • Now you can style your hair however you want.

Hair tonic with mango leaves

You will need:

  1. 3 to 4 sun-dried mango leaves
  2. A handful of neem leaves
  3. 1 lemon
  4. 1 Indian gooseberry
  5. 1 to 2 tablespoons of kalonji seeds
  6. 1 bowl of curry leaves
  7. A handful of guava leaves
  8. A cup of aloe vera juice
  9. A cup of filtered water

How to make it:

  • Soak the dried mango leaves in water for at least 6 hours.
  • Soak the Kalonji seeds for at least 24 hours in water so that they release their extracts into the water.
  • Soak guava leaves in water to soften their texture.
  • Remove the lemon zest with a sharp knife.
  • Cut the Indian gooseberry into small pieces.
  • Add all the soaked mango leaves, guava leaves, neem leaves, curry leaves, Kalonji seed water in the blender.
  • Add all remaining ingredients to the blender.
  • Blend it into a smooth paste.
  • Strain it.
  • Transfer contents to an empty, airtight spray container.

How to use this tonic:

  • Shake well before use to make sure all ingredients are mixed properly.
  • Comb your hair well.
  • Spray it on your scalp.
  • Massage your head gently.
